FIRE ALARM, SECURITY AND COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM DESIGN

LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM DESIGN

Down conductors: Equipment needed to conduct energy to ground in a controlled and safe manner.
Grounding systems: Equipment needed to dissipate lightning currents. A grounding system is essential for the proper operation of the protection system, including surge protection.
Surge protection: Devices for protecting electrical and electronic equipment connected to the facility's electrical network or low current networks (telecom and signalling networks) against voltage surges.
